The Hampton Beach wall

“What is the secret behind “The Wall” in Hampton? The seawall at the north beach is 1.5 miles long and extends from Boars Head north to Plaice Cove. It was built in 1955 to keep the ocean from flooding ocean blvd (route 1A). It does a pretty good job most of the time except when the big storms hit. That’s when the fun begins.”
