Field report for Saturday

Surfing today — not too bad / water 38°F or 39°F / at no point did I feel really cold. 5/4/3 – 5mm boots and new 3mm gloves.

Serious offshore wind — swell between 5 to 8 foot today. Gnar factor @ The Wall. Lots of dudes getting mini barrels at the wall. We ended up driving around looking for a more manageable paddle out. Checked all the usual spots and opted for Jennes.

Surfed the south end of Jennes – close to sh*t pipe. Scored a couple great rides. Definitely not in surf shape yet. Offshore made it tough to get into them.

Smaller tomorrow but sunny and warm.
