Mt Glenn has been sold

One of my favorite hiking and snowboarding spots has been sold. It’ll be destined to return to being a ski mountain – although I have my doubts to when exactly that will happen. Glenn has provided us a great spot to hike and ride in relative safety for the past 3 years. With it’s cut, open runs and gladed woods; you don’t have to worry quite as much about what’s under the snow, wire fences, rocks and other obstacles. There was a lot of discussion about a post I made on the Lift Lines BB, even a post from a guy who used to be a patroller there.

Only time will tell what really happens. As I mentioned a couple posts ago, they are now trying to enforce it as private property, which is a bit laughable due to the size of the place.

– source: http://www.carnetduski.com/nouvelle.php?N=375 (click here a bad Google translation of this)
